888 WSOP Promotion

With a name such as 888 it might be prudent to promote the number ‘8’; and that is precisely what 888 is doing in its World Series of Poker (WSOP) promotions; in particular it is promoting 8 possible ways to win a total of 88 packages for the WSOP, which means that 888 will be paying for 88 players to compete in the WSOP.

Their prize will consist of  a £10,000 WSOP buy in, hotel accommodation in Las Vegas,  travel and general spending money £2,500 plus a daily cash allowance. That is certainly some prize and these are the 8 ways to it:

1)    Win poker status points: Every month the top four players in the status points leader board will receive the full WSOP package and the next four will win a $5,000 side event package.

2)    Knock out 888 professionals Leo Margets or  Shane Warne in weekly bounty hunter Freerolls and finish in the top two places to win a seat in the Freeroll quarterly final. Win that and you get the full package, second and third get the $5,000 prize.

3)    Use Casino points to supplement poker points; then it works as in 1) above.

4)    A special Ladies Only qualifier works exactly as in 1) above, but only for the ladies.

5)    Play more cash game hands than anyone else and you win the full package as does the second most hands player.  The $5,000 prize goes to third and fourth.

6)    Make a video explaining why you deserve to be sent to the WSOP, upload it to You Tube and get more views than anyone else (remember, you’ve got friends) and you are off to Las Vegas. There are $5,000 packages for similar adventures on Twitter and Facebook.
7)     Spend the most money on tournament buy-ins and you will join the WSOP party.

8)    Invite friends to 888. The person who gets most friends to sign up is also off to Las Vegas with the full package.
