Recently believed to be playing low stakes tables in a different guise in order to rebuild the coffers that he painfully lost to Brian Hastings and others, it seems that he is rapidly getting back to where he was.

Recently Isildur1 started playing $200-$400 games on Full Tilt Poker and in the process doing exceptionally well; playing against Isaac Haxton, Justin Bonomo and others, he ended up by $730,000. His major winnings came from Justin Bonomo who ended down by £500,000.

Initially he played Isaac Haxton at pot-limit Omaha on eight tables, but this did not prove a good start for Isildur1 and he ended the session down by about $90,000. Isildur1 then switched to no limit Hold’em against Justin Bonomo. It was a good move and over the session Isildur1 accumulated $568,000.

During this session the biggest pot that Isildur1 won was for $171,000. He had already had some good runs of luck, and this time he was dealt a pair of Kings; a spade and a heart. He bet $6,400 which Bonomo, with Q-H; 6-H; raised to $15,600 which was called by Isildur1.

The turn card was 8-S; Isildur1 checked, Bonomo bet $20,000 and Isildur1 went all-in. The river card was J-H which helped nobody, so Isildur1 grossed $171,000. A few hands later the session ended.

It seems that Isildur1’s prospects have taken a turn for the better and it looks as if we can anticipate seeing him in more big stakes poker in the near future. Perhaps he has learned some lessons from his earlier misfortunes, and if he can overcome some of his weaknesses regarding money management, he could soon become the major force that he once appeared to be.
