Ladbrokes Poker

Ladbrokes, one of the largest gaming and betting companies, have excitedly announced their partnership with Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels star Nick Moran. Moran, who played Eddy the card sharp, has partnered with the brand to offer Poker players a thrilling new way to learn the game in a fun and safe environment. This will be known as Ladbrokes Poker School.

This eight-week series hosted by Moran will provide any enthusiastic on-line Poker player with the knowledge to go from failure to success. Armed with a unique series of articles, podcasts and online videos you soon will be covering all things from ‘getting started’ to ‘advanced poker strategy and bankroll management’.

If you feel you are a true contender are then offering you the opportunity to play against Nick Moran in a series of on-line games in which you can observe his every move and at times even play a few hands. In addition Jon Kalmar (aka Skalie), who famously made the final table of the 2007 WSOP Main Event, will be playing as he has been the professional mentor in this whole venture. If this wasn’t enough they will both be joining the Ladbrokes Poker community in person at the Irish Poker Festival, Killarney, in October 2010, which will see the culmination of weeks of hard work and practice, hopefully resulting in a success.

Moran has great faith in this schooling as he himself admits to being far from the card savvy character he played in Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels: ‘Despite playing Eddy ‘the card shark’ in Lock Stock I had very little poker playing experience. This partnership has allowed me brush up on my own skills, have fun and now hopefully go all the way in Killarney!’

So if you have a wish to increase your Poker skills then log on to Ladbrokes Poker and following in the handsome rugged steps of Nick Moran!
