World Series of Poker Europe (WSOPE) 2010– Details Announced

The official schedule for the World Series of Poker Europe (WSOPE) 2010 were announced yesterday. The event will take place from 14th to 28th September and this year it will feature in total  five events total which is up from the four events featured in 2009. The tournament will take place in the Empire Casino in Leicester Square, London.

The first event will be a £2,500 no-limit Texas Hold'em 6-max event which lasts for three days. There is a £5,000 pot limit Omaha, a £1,000 no-limit Texas Hold'em (which is the lowest buy-in available and also lasts over three days) a £10,000 High-Roller Heads-Up no-limit Texas Hold'em and the Main Event which is £10,000 no-limit Texas Hold'em which lasts over five days.

Previous winners of the Main Event are Barry Shulman, John Juanda and Annette Obrestad.

The full schedule with dates is given below.

Event 1 – £2,500 no-limit Texas Hold'em 6-max:         14th to 16th September
Event 2 – £5,000 pot limit Omaha:                16th to 8th September
Event 3 – £1,000 no-limit Texas Hold'em:            17th to 21st September
Event 4 – £10,000 High-Roller no-limit Texas Hold'em     21st to 23rd September
Event 5 – £10,000 no-limit Texas Hold'em Main Event:    23rd to 28th September

Of course it is not too long before the WSOP gets underway and if you are not competing then a great way to get a little more out of the event is to have a few bets on who you think will win the tournament.
