Durrrr Challenge Moves On

The Durrrr Challenge has been going for two years now and still Tom Dwan and Patrik Antonios have failed to complete all their games. In the challenge Dwan has offered to play any player for 50,000 hands of Hold’em or Omaha with minimum blinds of $200/$400. If, at the conclusion, Dwan is behind he will pay his opponent $1.5 million, though if he is ahead his opponent must pay him only £500,000.
Currently only 38,974 of the 50,000 hands have been played and Dwan is ahead by $1,844,430 and the challenge has been stalled there for some time. Now the two players have resolved to finish it quickly.
Next in line to take on the Durrrr challenge is a young player whose online name is jungleman12 but whose real name is Daniel Cates. He is currently a student at Maryland University where he is reading economics. He is a regular online player and enjoys playing high stakes poker where he has demonstrated his considerable abilities. He has also beaten Dwan on several occasions and has taken many thousands of dollars off him.
Jungleman12’s poker career began in high school where he started playing low stakes cash games heads up. In 2008 he was playing blinds of $.25/$.50 heads but within months he had moved up to $10/$20 levels. In his first year of poker he won over £100,000. He quickly moved up to the $25/$50. and continued to prosper.
According to a number of blogs, he is though to be one of the top ten online no limit heads-up players in the world. He is also offering online lessons for which he charges $1,000 an hour.
