Full Tilt Online Poker Series XVII has got even better. Hailed by many as the best series of online poker tournaments since its inception around four years ago it has done nothing but improve.

The first of the series began in August 2006. It had just eight events and a then massive prize pool of $1 million. Since then there have been year on year increases to both the prize pool and the schedule of events, and this year there will be a massive tirty four separate events along with a total prize pool of round about £19 million.

Every tournament will be hosted by a Full Tilt professional player and there is a huge variety of different tournaments that are available. These include Super Turbos, Turbos, Shootouts and Knockouts.

There are also two day events and each one of these has a guaranteed prize pool of $2 million. Of course there is also the Major Event which has the top prize pool of $3 million.

For people who enjoy some rapid fire action, there are six Rush Poker tournaments to enjoy and the guaranteed prize pools for these range from $150,000 to $750,000 with buy ins from $150 to $300.

If you want to get in on some of this action then why not try and qualify on one of the tournament satellites? There are steps tournaments running at the moment with buy ins of as little as $3.30. These go right the way up to the seventh step where you can win a seat in the $2 million two day tournament.

There are also some additional prizes to be won. Anybody who makes a final table in any event will receive a special tournament jacket and if you win the table you will also get a gold jersey avatar which you can use on the website. In addition, the leader board winner will receive a free entry to every event in the next FTOPS series apart from the two day event.
