Victoria Coren Haunted by Poker Hand

The hand that is haunting the poker player and journalist Victoria Coren was played at the 2010 World Series of Poker, though she says that some hands have haunted her for years.
The blinds were 50/100 and Juliano who was seated on her right limped a bet. He had previously let it be known that the reason he was playing in the main event for the first time was in honour of his father who had recently died.
Coren considered that the combination of his weak bet and the fact that this was the very first hand on which he had made any bet meant that this man had no intention of bluffing, so she guessed that he had a pocket pair of small to medium strength.
Victoria had 4-C and 5-C so it was worth seeing the flop if it did not cost too much to do so she also limped. The man on the button then bet 400 and both Juliano and Coren called.
The flop was 6-H; 7-D; 8-S giving Coren a straight. Bothe Juliano and she checked believing that the man on the button would raise, particularly as he had been betting enthusiastically an just about anything. He bet 1,200 but going on previous evidence Coren though he had very little. Juliano checked and Coren raised to 6,500. As anticipated the man on the button folded but Julian raised.
The turn was 8-H and they both checked. Next the river was 2-D. Juliano went 11,000 and Coren started to sweat. She decided that he initial impression must have been wrong and wondered why he had bet so heavily on a board that looked able to deliver a straight and also had a pair.
Eventually she folded her straight, but to this day she wonders what he had. By far the most likely hand is a full house, but then it might not have been.
