Darvin Moon, the logger with the largest chip stack is also dominating as the bookmakers’ favourite. 888 have him at 7/2. In second place is Eric Buchman who is available at 4/1 followed by the World Champion Phil Ivey at 6/1. Also at 6/1 is Steven Begleiter and they are closely followed by Jeff Shulman at 7/1.

If you prefer a little negative betting, then everybody seems to think that the first elimination will be James Akenhead who is backed to leave first at 9/4 with Antoine Sauot at 13/5 and Joe Cadea at 5/1.

For a really outrageous bet you can even bet on the winning hand. A lowly single pair is going at 9/4, a high card at 13/5 and two pairs at 13/2. Any other hand winning the final hand is available 3/2 or higher.

Apart from the bookies, the majority of professional poker players who have been asked have favoured Eric Buchman, followed by Phil Ivey with the chip leader Darvin Moon in third place. From these results it seems that the bookies favour the currently leading chip stacks whilst the professionals put greater emphasis on skill.

This is promising to be an extremely exciting event and all will begin to unfold when the November Nine sit down this coming Saturday. Gaming Supermarket will bring you all the latest news of the action.

Gaming Supermarket’s tip:  Phil Ivey is playing extremely well at the moment and many consider him to be the best poker player in the world but, given his huge chip lead, Darvin Moon is going to take some beating. Our money is going on Moon.
